My name is Barb Turner and I have worked with kids most of my adult life in the elementary school setting. I love to share my joy of sewing and creating with kids and adults. At my current studio, I have taught over 250 kids. I hold after school classes during the school year and hold sewing camps during the summer.
When students come to sew at Barn Bobbins, each student has a sewing machine and individual tools to work with. There is a limit of 6 students per class to ensure maximum attention and learning opportunities.
I start teaching kids when they are 8 years old or entering 2nd grade.
Summer Camps
Camps are $350 with a $100 non-refundable deposit due with registration.
All supplies are included. Lots of fun fabric choices for students to design their projects.
The quilts are using a fun fabric line, and the students decide on placement.
Please call for the availability for space in a camp.
Students should bring a water bottle and a snack.
Please park in the driveway in front of the garage of the main house for drop off and pick up.
